How to sew a reusable, machine washable mask with a filter.

During these hard times we all need to stick together and share the love (from a safe distance.).

As you may be aware, due to Covid 19 it is currently mandatory to wear a mask outdoors in Dubai. I had literally searched the internet high and low to find a good pattern for a reusable mask that was machine washable, had an adjustable nose bridge and had a filter but I found nothing.

And then, low and behold, my dear friend Natasha send me a whattaspp of her new ALL BELLS AND WHISTLES reusable mask that her mum had made her and it ticked ALL the boxes!

I charmed Mamma Averil into sharing it with me and with you. Thank you so much Averil, for very generously sharing your hand-drawn mask pattern with us!

Note: This is drawn on an A4 sized paper, so when printed it should be true to size. But just in case the size changes when printing; the bottom of the man’s mask is 12cm and women’s is 11cm.

This mask does require a sewing machine but i will upload another No Sew mask option soon!
